内容简介

Given the instrumental role it is playing in revolutionizing contemporary business practices and transforming traditional industries, it is unsurprising that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has attracted immense scholarly attention with research being generated at breakneck speed that covers a diversity of applications across multiple domains. Indeed, the advent of AI has brought about unprecedented opportunities for making scientific breakthroughs on the impact of digital technology on modern businesses. But at the same time, it comes with its own set of challenges in terms of data accuracy, ethical accountability, and methodological validity. In this seminar, I will draw on my own research and published work to elucidate the opportunities and challenges with conducting research in the age of AI, focusing specifically on the distinct approaches for incorporating AI into research design today as well as the focal considerations and due diligence which must be taken into account when deploying AI methodologically.
